ITINERARY

PLANO CREATIVO DALI

01

Dance of Time I

The magical tour of L'Art Dans la Nature begins with the most recognizable element of Dalí's work: the cast clock. The artist became obsessed with the concept of time and used the image of the melted clock in many of his works. Without being subject to the rigid laws of a clock, time, for Dalí, moves to the rhythm of a perpetual dance that accelerates, slows down, stretches, liquefies. Through video projection on the original 1979 sculpture, you will be able to immerse yourself even further in the artist's unique concept of time.

02

Oniric Ant Path

Ants are one of the recurring elements in Dalí's work. In addition to being a provocative and unexpected element, the presence of these insects in his works represents the symbolism of persistence and industriousness, the influence of Freudian theory and the obsession with the minuscule and the details. For the first time, these ants emerge from Dalí's paintings transformed into impressive 3D light sculptures that will make you immerse yourself in the artist's work.

03

Spellbound

04

Surrealism

Dalí's work is known for challenging conventions and exploring the deepest corners of the human mind. The surrealism of his works is characterized by the representation of scenes and objects in an irrational and dreamlike manner, with meticulous attention to detail. These smart LED lights in the middle of nature reflect the surreal spirit of Dalí's work and will instantly transport you to it, creating a fantastic landscape where reality mixes with the subconscious and the illogical.

05

Alice in Wonderland

In this original sculpture from 1977, Dalí portrays the innocence and naivety of Alice, the protagonist of Alice in Wonderland, by Lewis Carrol, a work for which he was fascinated. The author created a frozen silhouette of Alice jumping rope with roses blooming in her hands and in her hair, symbolizing her feminine beauty and eternal youth. The crutch symbolizes stability, gives you emotional support, acting as a link back to reality. This beautiful sculpture will be illuminated by laser light and a mirror ball show, which will elevate the beauty of the piece, creating a unique and magical atmosphere.

06

Unicorn

This original sculpture from 1977 praises Dalí's relationship with his beloved wife Gala, the heart-shaped opening in the wall represents their love. In his autobiography, Dalí illustrates Gala riding a Unicorn, a mythical creature highlighted in legends as a symbol of purity and ideal representation of the “perfect” horse, suggesting that the image of the Unicorn and eternal love for Gala were, for Dalí, inspiration sources. At l'Art Dans la Nature you will have a unique opportunity to enjoy Dalí's original sculpture in an environment surrounded by nature and with a spectacular light show with a mirror ball.

07

Triumphant Elephant

The Triumphant Elephant is one of the artist's most iconic and instantly recognizable images, an original sculpture from 1975 that reflects his fascination with elephants. Dalí subverted the idea that the elephant is heavy and strong, giving it impossibly long legs.

The angel that rises on the elephant's back represents the subconscious that guides man through life. The elephant triumphantly raises his trunk as the jubilant herald that reflects this action announcing success and hope in the future. In L'Art dans la Nature you will be able to see this entire representation exalted in a unique way thanks to a magical video projection.

08

Space Venus

Dalí pays tribute to the female figure and his attraction to her in this sculpture, as well as to the goddess of beauty, Venus. Although the underlying form of this sculpture is that of a classic female torso, it adds four symbols of Dalinian surrealism: a soft clock, which represents that the beauty of the flesh is temporary, while that of art is timeless and eternal; ants, as a reminder of human mortality; and an egg in the middle of a body separated into two parts, representing life, renewal, continuation and the future. This original sculpture from 1977 will be accompanied by light lasers that will enhance its beauty and create a unique atmosphere.

09

Dadá Egg

The egg is one of Dalí's favorite themes in his work, given the duality of its hard exterior and soft interior. These eggs, present in works such as Space Venus, represent life, renewal, continuation and the future. At L’Art Dans la Nature we wanted to pay tribute to these eggs through interactive light sculptures that will combine nature, light and art.

10

Homage to Terpsichore

Dalí's Homage to Terpsichore is an exquisite tribute to the goddess of dance and chorus. In his representation of Terpsichore, Salvador Dalí uses a mirror image, contrasting the soft and carnal muse with his "shadow", the hardened and statuesque muse. The elegant and sensual figure of Terpsichore is transformed into a geometric body from which branches sprout, symbolizing regeneration and new life. On your journey through the lights and work of Dalí you will rediscover the artist's original sculpture from 1977 through an impressive video projection that will take you even further into the surreal world of Dalí.

11

Surrealist Snail Path

Snails are a recurring motif in the work of Salvador Dalí and symbolize fragility and the passage of time. They may also represent the artist's obsession with sexuality and human psychology. His presence in his works reflects his interest in exploring the surreal and the subconscious through surrealist iconography, adding a layer of enigmatic meaning to his paintings. Delve into Dalí's surrealist iconography through multiple light sculptures that pay tribute to the artist's obsession with snails.

12

Snail and the Angel

Dalí was obsessed with snails, they were a fetish for him and a source of inspiration for his artistic work. The artist added a surreal touch to this 1977 sculpture; Paradoxically, the snail, a universal symbol of the idle passage of time, has been given wings, and is seen here riding swiftly on the waves. An angel gently rests on his back, granting him the gift of swift movement. This messenger acts as an intermediary between the real and imaginary worlds and triumphantly holds a crutch, another important Dalinian symbol. The original work will be accompanied by smaller replicas and different light lasers, adding an extra surrealism to the context of the work.

13

Profile of Time

This sculpture is an ingenious creation, full of symbolism and hidden meanings. The soft clock unfortunately liquefies on the tree, forming a double image. Tilting the head to the left a hidden image appears; The clock face transforms into the profile of the artist, an eye, a pointed nose and the 9 that suggests Dalí's mustache. The distinctive shape of this original 1977 sculpture is based on a specific rock formation in his hometown, underscoring the influence of Dalí's native landscape on his art, as well as the olive tree, another significant image for Dalí. A surreal landscape that will be accompanied by impressive light lasers.

14

Saint George and the Dragon

Dalí transforms the traditional iconography of the legend of Saint George into a symbolic and interpretive work. The Saint is the brave knight in shining golden armor, depicted in the act of inflicting the fatal blow on the dragon and saving the life of the princess of Selene at his side. This original Dalí sculpture from 1977 focuses on the duality between life and death; good and evil. The symbolic force of this work will be reinforced by a light show with a mirror ball.

15

Surrealist Piano

In this original Dalí sculpture from 1954, the artist transforms the image of a grand piano into a surreal dancing object. The legs of the piano are replaced by female legs, shod feet and skirted ruffles, transforming the mundane and inanimate into an animated object, typical of Dalinian surrealism. The result is a set full of life, capable of both dancing and playing, that could only exist in Dalí's surreal universe, incorporating a golden female figure that gives the sculpture an elegant and graceful dimension. An impressive sculpture that will be surrounded by a light show with which you will feel that the piano comes to life and the bright lights dance to its rhythm.

16

The Clock’s Dream + 17. Dance of Time I

Salvador Dalí created the famous "Cast Clocks" as part of his exploration of the surrealist art movement. These clocks, which are often referred to as "Soft Clocks" or "Melting Clocks", represent the distortion of time and reality. Dalí was interested in challenging traditional notions of perception and time in his work, and the melting clocks are an emblematic example of this. When you reach this part of your trip in L'Art Dans la Nature you will feel that time has been distorted, just as it happens in Dalí's work, since you will find a video projection accompanied by light sculptures that will make you delve into filled in the surreal world of the artist.

17

Dance of Time II + 19. Dance of Time III

Your brilliant walk will continue among light sculptures of molten clocks that will make you feel that time is still distorted, a clear tribute to Dalí's artistic manifestation and his fascination with time, reality and the subconscious, challenging conventions and exploring illusory nature. of existence.

18

The Elephants

An impressive parade of luminous elephants, a symbol of the future for Dalí, show us the way to what will be the last part of the tour. These elephants defy the laws of nature by moving effortlessly, almost gracefully, and will make you end your walk almost as if you were levitating immersed in a surreal world.

19

Scenography of a Dream

Your visit to the surreal and spectacular world of Dalí will end with an impressive video mapping that pays tribute to the collaboration that the artist made with Alfred Hitchcock in the 1945 film “Spellbound” and that, as in this one, will make you end the visit immersed in a surreal and dreamlike Dalinian dream.
